Problemi a casa eBay: il black-out di PayPal

03 Set

Thanks to everyone for their patience over the last few days as the issue with Subscriptions payments has been investigated by our technology team. We made a significant site update last week, and a bug was introduced that caused scheduled subscription payments to be backlogged, and subsequently no payments were made for the past few days. This bug was first reported here in the community, and was quickly escalated to be a top-priority issue for us to fix.

Good news is that the bug has been resolved, and that backlogged payments have begun to be processed. We expect all backlogged payments to be settled within the next 24 hours.

We realize many of you depend on PayPal as a core payment processor for your business, and do not take outages such as this lightly. We will work to ensure this type of delay does not occur again in the future, and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your business.

Tutto risolto?

This bug may have been resolved but it has caused something else: I logged in to my account today and saw that ALL of my active subscriptions had been cancelled! Every single one. Some I had just paid for; some I had very special pricing for. I am fairly upset – is Paypal going to resolve this?

Damon, l’autore del post, risponde:

We will continue to investigate the cancelled subscriptions behavior and post any updates to the main thread

Come GPay, il sistema di pagamento made by Google.
